Miuccia Prada
Miuccia Prada is an Italian fashion designer. In 1913 two men Mario and Martino Prada created their company Prada. Prada started out as a Milanese shop, selling only Italian leather and handbags.
Mario Prada prevented female family members from having a role in his company. Mairo didn't believe women should run a buisness, but soon after his daughter Luisa Prada took over for 20 years. After Luisa her daughter Miuccia Prada took over.
In 1985 Miuccia released the "Classic Prada handbag." The bag became an overnight sensation. 1989, the ready-to-wear collection was launched. The collection featured clean lines, basic colors, and opulent fabric. The Prada collection had it and the people loved it.
